and work history
Studied
at Lowestoft School of Art and St Martins College of Art,
London (NDD). Taught at St Albans, Luton and Watford. Senior
Lecturer at Alsager College of Education. Retrained in art
restoration. Developed programme of private courses in Restoration.
Guild Commended Framer. Four books and 15 videos on Restoration
and Framing published.
Throughout
working career continued painting in watercolour and oil.
Interested mainly in local subjects, flowers and natural forms.
Developed an interest in printmaking in the last 10 years.
In 1999 retired to Southwold to concentrate on painting and
printmaking. Main printing methods are relief (lino and wood)
and intaglio (collography and etching) |
