Botanical
subjects in water-colour and drawings in silver-point.
Maryrose Rintoul was first taught botanical drawing
by Shirley Smith and more recently has taken part
in workshops at the University Botanical Gardens,
Cambridge.
Since 1988 she has exhibited with the Society
of Botanical Artists; the Royal Horticultural
Society, Vincent Square; the Southwold Art Circle
and at the Gallery, Snape Maltings. More decorative
designs have been published by the Medici Society
& Henry Ling & Sons Ltd.
Her interest is in species - rather than hybrid
varieties - and in particular in British native
species.
